唐鲲博士,男,36岁。上海中科院-马普学会合作伙伴计算生物学所研究员。2004年毕业于新加坡国立大学生物化学系。获得理学博士学位。2004年至2007年底在德国莱比锡的马普进化人类学所做博士后工作。2008年初加入计算所。最早开展了对多药耐药基因ABCB1的连锁不平衡和单倍型基因的工作(Tang et al, 2002) 。最早在多药耐药基因,ABCB1中发现自然选择的证据(Tang et al, 2004)。先后参与了对多个多药耐药基因的遗传结构,疾病关联及自然选择的研究。后转入自然选择测试方法的建立,群体遗传学分析以及全基因组自然选择检测的研究。参与了多个候选基因自然选择与遗传结构分析及其他进化遗传学的工作,完成了至今仅有的几个全基因组正选择扫描的工作之一,对国际自然选择的研究工作作了关键的补充(Tang et al, 2007)。现在主要进行人类体质面部的遗传研究和人类群体遗传学的大数据分析研究。
